Fun Science - Water Thermometer

It is a principle of Capillary Action, Where colored dye is expanded by water and the molding clay and the straw is where the excess is expanded from the heat. The water molecules in the bottle which is in the hot water need to move around more and then take up more space and in the cold water the molecules move around a lot less take up more space and so in the hot water the colored water in the bottle move up the straw and in the cold water u won’t notice anything but the water is taking up less space.
